About Lee Morris

Lee MorrisLee has been a resident within the Kamloops area for over 25 years residing primarily along the South Thompson River. Lee’s career in business and non-profit organizations in the area spans three decades. While she has owned her own company ,Tourism Interior, since the mid-90’s, it is primarily her volunteer and additional professional roles that have strengthened her ability to explore diverse ideas and future projects for her area. Lee is committed to nurturing visionary projects that embrace and enhance the lifestyles most cherished in the area.

As a former Tourism Industry issues advocate, her interest specific to the TNRD Area P grew sparked by concerns relative to localized air emissions in addition to broader fire protection concerns. Lee has acted as the Alternate Director for TNRD Area P since 2018 and has been very active in that role. Lee is keenly interested in continuing in the opportunity to serve on Regional Committees where her input on behalf of the area’s vision will be of value. Lee's diverse career with provides a solid foundation for ensuring that communication, consultation and accountability are a priority in both her work and her volunteer efforts.

Lee brings extensive experience as an active Board member for diverse organizations. She has a solid understanding of Board responsibilities to stakeholders. Her resume of community connections is extensive. Her lengthy career and volunteer roles with business and community-based organizations demonstrate the foundation that ensures consultation, accountability and leadership and are her priority for the groups and individual organizations she works with.
